Women's Health FAQs
Most women should have a well-woman exam every year. Pap smears are typically done annually. We’ll help you stay on schedule based on current guidelines.
A pap smear is a quick test during your pelvic exam where we collect a few cells from your cervix to check for abnormalities. It takes just a few seconds and is key in preventing cervical cancer.
We do not provide obstetrical (OB) care and aren’t able to follow patients through pregnancy, as our providers don’t have hospital privileges for deliveries. If you’re pregnant, we recommend establishing care with an OB practice that can fully support you throughout your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period. We’re always happy to help you find the right resources if you need guidance.
